The Petroleum FREEdom Parade is open to anyone using a mode of transportation that doesn’t run on petroleum.
We hope to see kids on bikes, skateboards, and scooters; walkers, biodiesel cars, horses, wagons, and perhaps a couple or three rickshaws. (We need volunteer rickshaw drivers both for the parade and to offer rides occasionally throughout the day! Please get in touch if you’d like to give it a try.)
All are welcome to join the parade by gathering at the Walpole School at 9 am for an expected departure at 9:30. The parade will head up Main St, pass Burdick’s and the Post Office, turn onto Middle St, and loop around the Common.
